Karma, karma...

A few hours back, Xiu and I did a good and stupid thing.

After biding farewell to the Zheng Bro. Gang and thier 'Xiao Ehs' (girlfriends in Hokkien), we came arcoss the new fountian in Suntec. So we stay for a while and watched the mini music fountian ad took some pictures. As the crowd dissipate, we found a laptop bag beside the attraction. Inside is a HP notebook, complete with original Window XP installer disc and power cable.

After much struggling with our conscience (both of us strongly believe in Karma...), we decided to take the laptop to the informaton counter. Unfortunately, the counter is close. Slowly and unwillingly, we strolled back to looke for the security guard for help. the guard took us to their office to fill up some lost and found form.

As we proceed out of Suntec and climbed up the broke down escalator, a young man ran pass us. I got a felling that that was the person who left his notebook at the fountian and thought that he would probably come back when he couldn't find it. So we climbed down the escalator and head back to Suntec to look for that guy.

Truly enough, he's the bugger who left the laptop there. We directed him to the security room to claim back his posession, and then made our BACK to the broke down escalator towards the MRT station...

Fwah... Begin a good and honest citizen's sure tiring.

Along the way, Xiu told me how her brother would scold her for returning the notebook

"You stupid girl! You can use that computer yourself! Blah, Blah, Blah...."

I told her we did the right thing and that at least our conscience is clear, while feeling quite ‘不甘心’ myself too...

Reasons of why you should get a NDSL

Recently, quite a number of Peeps are asking me 'bout the Nintendo Dual Screen Lite (NDSL). So to answer thier queries, here's my opinions on why you should get a NDSL.

First of all, let's look at the pros and cons of owning a NDSL:

Pros
Light-weight (218 g)
Compact (133 mm × 73.9 mm × 21.5 mm)
Dual screen
Touch screen
Regional free
Wireless and internet gameplay
Built in microphone

Cons
Not multimedia (don't play MP3, video, etc by itself)
Graphics, sound and resolution are not as good as PSP
Maybe mistaken for a make up kit

So, for those who want a 'bao ga liao' gadget, please don't get NDSL. For those looking for fun, innovative and interactive gameplay, NDSL is definately a must to get. So what's so fun 'bout NDSL?

Imagine playing a Role Playing Game (RPG), then you want to use magic, instead of the usual way of selecting (using the Diectional pad plus other buttons), you can draw symbols or signs on the touch pad.

When playing Nintendogs (doggie version of Tamagochi), you are required to speak into the microphone to get the puppies do tricks and stuffs. You can make use of the stylus to pet the puppies, hold thier paws and even giving them belly rubs!

Here are some games that are innovative and interactive.

Lost Magic
Nintendogs
Ouendan
Cooking Mama
Trauma Center
New Super Mario

I feel that NDSL is a great console for party games and it is more family orientated. It caters to Peeps who are new to the gaming world to casual gamers to hardcore gamers.

Rise of a NDSL Clan?

Hi Peeps, I'm back! Sorry for the lack of updates. So what I am I up to recently?

CO practice, CO practice, CO practice, and more CO practice.

Yes, I have no life outside of my CCA. Man, my shoulder started to ache again...

Damo-kun bought a black DS Lite on Sunday and it sparked a interest in a few peeps in NYPCO. At 1st it's just Lin seems quites keen in the little black handheld console. So I went on telling her that advantages of owning a NDSL. Also, I demostrated to her some of the all-time favorite game of NDS and some special gameplay that are offer by it. Before I realised, I've 'psycho' quite some peeps into buying the console.

We even talked 'bout having regular DS gaming session in the future. Actually, I didn't intend to do any 'psycho'-ing. It just happened that Damo-kun wanna get some games from me and Lin happens to be there... and I'm in the mood to tell her the tons of fun I have with my dark blue NDSL.

Maybe I can open a game store if I decided to quit nursing in the future eh? Hahaha...

Creepy...

Down with flu recently and it's the worse I had so far. It causes me two sleepless nights. I even have some sort of hallucination. On friday night, I have this sleepwalk-cum-nightmare thingy that made me felt like everything around me are messed up.

I remember standing in my living for a moment, feeling lost, confused and afraid, like I knew something terrible is gonna happen. Next thing I know, I'm in a place filled with red faces screaming and pulsating. It's after I went to the toilet then I snapped out of it. This experience leaves me feeling very tired for the rest of the Saturday.

Hmm... come to think of it, sounds like something out of Silent Hill.

Or maybe this is what Parasomia feels like.

Hahaha....... Not really funny.

But on the bright side, I didn't caught flu on monday. Or else I'll sure fail my clinical skill test. By the way, congrats to all my classmates for passing the test too!

Now I feel much better, but still a bit weak. I can't play the bass well today 'cause my hand keeps trembling.

Thanks for those who are concern 'bout me. Give me two more days and I'll be good as new!

If I'm really in Silent Hill, I wish I had a lightsabre with me... It'll be more fun cutting down the demons with it. Hahaha.... Yes, I'm sick.
